Alison Maclean (Jesus’ Son) returns to her filmmaking roots after more than 15 years of directing for television with The Rehearsal. The film, adapted from the novel by Eleanor Catton, is an exploration of truth and performance set in a New Zealand drama school. It will have its U.S. Premiere in the Main Slate of the 54th New York Film Festival.
