At a recent installment of our Film Society Free Talks, sponsored by HBO, director and producer Jon Favreau joined Film Comment editor Nicolas Rapold in conversation to discuss the journey of bringing The Jungle Book back to the big screen. Favreau talked about the technology behind the CGI employed to give his latest film a realistic look, crafting this adaptation for new audiences. In a surprise appearance, 12-year-old Neel Sethi, who plays Mowgli in the film, joined Favreau onstage.
